This is a tribute to the magnificent landscape of Monument Valley and the entire southwest U.S.
I took a photograph of an awe inspiring cliff face in Monument Valley, stretched and cut it into
segments and glued it on canvas. I painted the canvas with dots and dashes of changing color that
reference the energy that permeates and holds together even the most monumental landscapes.
Giclee on canvas or photo paper.
